An amazing show with great musicians, fans and friends alike, this was an epic show for the books.
Although the lights were tough for the opening bands and photographers prior to the Cavalera Conspiracy hitting the stage it did not hamper the amazing sound, energy and fury that ensued. Here are just a few moment forever captured by out metal community.
Newly formed but not new musicians to the scene The Media Grooves came out with full guns blazing. It was so much fun to see these guys give their all on stage. Keep an eye on these guys as this is just the beginning for this group.
The lighting was tough to capture good shots so there are no pictures to show of Full of Hell and only 2 shots of Immolation. They were killer none the less.
Closing the night The Cavalera Conspiracy came out and performed their 1996 Sepultura album Roots in it's complete entirety. They did not disappoint. The amazing control over the frenzied crowd was bewildering to see. Plenty of circle pits all night. Mark Rizzo has so much positive energy on stage as the jumps, thrashes and riffs. Very contagious! Max took command of the crowd the entire set while Iggor was on point with his punishing drum sound. Tony Campos' low end was thundering as his style fits the group awesomely.
It was an amazing night for the books, if nothing else just another snapshot of all the amazing bands, friends, family and staff at the Summit Music Hall. A Very special Thank You to the great staff at The Summit Music Hall who made sure we all had a blast and were safe.
See you all soon. Support live music.
